Welcome to The Grade Gap!
Welcome to The Grade Gap!
The Grade Gap provides personalised support to help young people learn, grow and thrive.
We combine academic support with youth development, confidence building, wellbeing, life skills and early intervention - creating tailored support around each young person's individual needs.
Whether a young person needs help with their learning, confidence, motivation, personal development or preparing for their next steps, our approach is supportive, practical and bespoke.
How We Can Help
Personalised support tailored to each young person's needs, including study skills, exam preparation, learning confidence and support across core subjects.
Supporting young people to build confidence, self-esteem, motivation, resilience and practical life skills through tailored mentoring and constructive activities.
Age-appropriate support exploring topics such as exploitation, online safety, body image, positive choices, confidence and personal wellbeing.
Why The Grade Gap?
The Grade Gap is built around the belief that every young person has the potential to learn, grow and thrive when they have the right support around them.
With professional experience in youth justice and supporting young people with a wide range of needs, I understand that progress isn't always about grades. Confidence, motivation, wellbeing, relationships and life skills can all play an important part.
That's why support is personalised, practical and relationship-focused - creating a safe, encouraging space where young people can build confidence, develop skills and work towards their goals.
Who I Am
I'm Sophie, the founder of The Grade Gap.
With a BA (Hons) in Law and professional experience supporting young people within youth justice, I understand that every young person has different needs, strengths and goals.
The Grade Gap provides personalised academic support alongside youth development, confidence building, wellbeing, life skills and early intervention. Academic support can include study skills, exam preparation, learning confidence and tailored support across core subjects.
I created The Grade Gap to provide bespoke support that looks at the whole young person - helping them overcome barriers to learning and work towards their goals.
